The organization has highlighted issues such as the central government’s anti-people policies and the farmers’ movement. Central investigative agencies were deployed against NewsClick specifically to stifle its fearless journalism.
According to the Politburo, the Delhi High Court’s verdict proves that the investigation into financial irregularities against NewsClick and the case against Prabir Purkayastha are politically motivated. This ruling is crucial for the struggle to safeguard press freedom and the fundamental rights of the common people.
