Addressing a press conference from Nabanna, she said, "The signatures of 14 Trinamool MLAs are not there. Their names are written in block letters. This is not a signature." After that, she said that two Trinamool MLAs Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha had filed a written complaint about this matter at the Hare Street Police Station on May 27. An investigation is being conducted based on that complaint.The government and the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly have no connection with this.
It is worth noting that since the election results, Ritabrata and Sandipan have been heard praising Subhendu Stuti and criticizing party leader Abhishek and I-PAC. The most important aspect is that these two Trinamool MLAs met the Chief Minister in the Assembly on May 26. After that, they filed a complaint.
Ritabrata won from Uluberia East constituency on a Trinamool ticket. He was also a Rajya Sabha MP. On the other hand, Sandipan Saha won from Entali constituency, he is also a councilor of Kolkata Municipality.
Since the election results, Sandipan and Ritabrata have been heard praising the current government. Ritabrata claimed that the importance given by the Chief Minister to the opposition in the administrative meeting is remarkable. The two also spoke out about the lack of importance given to the administrative work of the opposition during the previous government.
According to Trinamool sources, the decision to expel these two MLAs has been communicated to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
